Create cost allocation scheme

  1. In cost allocation schemes, click on New.png.

  2. Enter name and description for new cost allocation scheme.

  3. Select cost center hierarchy.

  4. Select cost allocation type.

    Choose from aggregated or non-aggregated users, CPU time consumption, dialog steps, and user license types consolidated or local.

  5. To add a new row, click on Add1.png.

    Select data source type and click on Accept.png.

  6. Enter description for scheme row.

  7. To add a new condition, click on Add1.png.

    Select condition type and click on Accept.png.

    Enter description.

    Select field type and specify field values.

    note

    Depending on the selected condition type, the available field types differ.

    Select option for condition shape for aggregation group.

    note

    The option 'Fulfilled on at least one data source, otherwise initial' means that the condition is fulfilled if the specified value for a user of an aggregation group exists on at least one data source while the same value is initial (empty) in the same field on other data sources. The condition is not fulfilled if the specified value exists on one data source, whereas a different value is specified for the same field on other data sources.

    Click on Accept.png.

  8. To add a new cost center assignment, click on Add1.png.

    Select cost center and change percentage, if required.

    Click on Accept.png.

  9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all required conditions and cost center assignments are added.

  10. Click on SAP navigation back.png.

  11. To save and activate cost allocation scheme, click on Activate.png.

  12. To switch to display mode, click on Switch to display mode.png.

To see new cost allocation scheme listed, click on SAP navigation back.png.
