Included and excluded objects

In single usage profiles, the mentioned object types can be included or excluded within a usage profile. In used usage profiles, included object types are part of an analysis and excluded object types are not part of an analysis. If an object type is included and excluded, the exclusion has priority.

Example of an 'SAP ESS' profile

Create an SAP ESS profile considering the SAP ESS user definition included in the contract documents.

Included objects:

  • R; SAPLCATS; Cross application time sheet

  • T; CADO; Time Sheet: Display Data

  • T; CAT2; Time Sheet: Maintain Times

  • T; CAT3; Time Sheet: Display Times

No excluded objects.

Example of an 'Exclude' profile

Create a profile that excludes all general transactions, reports, etc. that can be used by anyone.

No included objects.

Excluded objects:

  • R; <AD*; Active Directory Reports

  • R; <RPC*; Timeout Reports

  • R; DEMO_DYNPRO_F4_HELP_MODULE; Demonstration for F4 Help from Dialog Modules

  • R; Main Menu; SAP Easy Access
