Enhancements and changes

The following enhancements and changes are implemented in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software 3.2:

Reports

In CPU consumption profile analysis, you can select a reference usage profile to determine whether this usage profile fits the user better than the current usage profile.
In User authorizations, the performance for showing user role details in the report result has improved.
In Role usage analysis results, you can choose between a compact and a detailed view that shows the transactions used in the roles individually.

Loading of tables is adapted to the SQL changes of recent SAP releases.
In non-periodic data, there is an option to load only role data instead of full authorization data to avoid data overload.
The option to load only currently valid users of non-periodic data is activated by default.
The absolute specification for loading periodic data is preset to the current month plus two months in the past.

In User reconciliation, you can select only currently valid users to limit the report results.
In Digital Access measurement, units 4121 and 4123 for S/4HANA systems were added.
You can execute User list and Show HR activity status in the background and optionally email the report results.

When adding a product to a license contract, you can select whether the license model is perpetual or subscription.
You can add the same product to a license contract more than once.
The inventory determination is no longer dependent on the product type. You can select any inventory determination type for each product type.
If a product is of the type Engine, you can open the official SAP Engine documentation directly from the product details.
In frame contracts, there is a tab to show all documents of the subordinated license contracts.
In the results of rule set executions, you can select whether license counts and costs are calculated based on license types or on Full Use Equivalents (FUE).
In the All items tab of a frame contract, there is a column that shows whether the end date of an item is determined by a parent frame contract.

Product license shows information about the system ID, client, installation number, and release of the master system on that Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software is installed.
The number of users is checked only after data is loaded. In this way, before purchasing a license, the number of users can be checked to estimate the scope of the project.
There are new license modules for License Intelligence and Dashboard.
You can show the clients that have Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software installed and whether user data exists on those clients.

You can change the user type (named or concurrent) of users on BusinessObjects systems.
The condition type for assigned authorization objects can also check for authorization fields and field values.
The performance for executing rule sets that have an Active Directory condition has improved.
In the overview of single usage profiles, checkboxes show if a usage profile is a template and/or protected. In the detailed view of a single usage profile, an icon indicates if the usage profile is a template.
When exporting/importing objects, the notes to an object are automatically exported and imported together with the object.
Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software Offline Tool also supports the relative specification for periodic data for data export and import.
