Duplicate rules

Duplicate rules consist of condition types combined by logical operators. There are many combination possibilities to meet more or less complex requirements.

note

Only activated duplicate rules can be used in a duplicate search execution.

The activation concept defines the process of saving and activating objects that is used in the final stage to check for errors and mark the created object as ready for use. Creating and saving objects without activation can be used when work is still in progress.

note

Templates for duplicate rules exist and show how duplicate rules can look like.
