Create global rule

1. In global rules, click on .

2. Select rule type 'absolute license type distribution', 'relative license type distribution', or 'dissolve combination' and click on .

   note

   The absolute or relative license type distribution is included in the SAP contract. The license type distribution can be defined as an absolute specification by a mentioned amount or a relative specification by a mentioned percentage.

3. Enter name and description for new global rule.

4. If 'absolute license type distribution' was selected, enter license type number and number for upper threshold.

   Enter license type number to which license types are distributed when they reach upper threshold.

5. If 'relative license type distribution' was selected, enter license type number and maximum percentage.

   Enter license type number to which license types are distributed when they reach maximum percentage.

6. If 'dissolve combination' was selected, enter a license type combination.

   Enter license type number to which a license type combination is dissolved.

7. To save and activate global rule, click on .

8. To switch to display mode, click on .

   To see new global rule listed, click on .
