Local rules
Local rules can be created, and existing local rules can be edited in preparation for rule sets.
Local rules are rules that apply to a single system in isolation. Local rules focus on a single user or an aggregation group and consist of defined conditions and actions. If a condition applies to data, then an action is executed. Multiple conditions within a local rule are linked by AND, so all conditions have to apply before an action is executed. An OR link can be achieved by selecting multiple condition values within a condition of a local rule or by creating several local rules.
Only activated local rules can be used in a rule set.
The activation concept defines the process of saving and activating objects that is used in the final stage to check for errors and mark the created object as ready for use. Creating and saving objects without activation can be used when work is still in progress.
Templates for local rules exist and show how local rules can look like.
