Activity checks

The report shows activity checks relevant for Indirect Usage.

Activity checks are based on system measurement data. On ERP systems, around 40 selected business database tables are analyzed. Activity checks are performed for the last 30 days, the period that activity data is stored in the SAP systems.

  1. Select data sources.

  2. Click on Execute.png.

The resulting tabs provide information about work time, volume of work, and cross-component usage. 

Function available within tabs:

  • To see details, mark row and click on Details1.png.

Work time:

The status of a data source is highlighted if the check detected users who did not have a break of at least 8 hours during two consecutive days in accessing, producing, or changing entries in selected database tables.

Volume of work:

The status of a data source is highlighted if the check detected users who exceeded a threshold for creating or changing database table entries in selected tables. SAP uses certain statistical parameters to decide if the number exceeds the threshold.

The status of a data source is highlighted if the check detected users who created or changed entries in database tables of different SAP modules in the same second.
