Enhancements and changes

The following enhancements and changes are implemented in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software 3.3:

Templates​

  • There is a new License Intelligence template in usage profiles for the SAP Retail User. A rule has been created for this usage profile and the rule has been integrated into the License Intelligence ECC ruleset templates.

  • The License Intelligence templates of S/4HANA usage profiles have been updated with the new S/4HANA 2022 transactions.

  • Notes have been added to all License Intelligence templates to describe information such as the function and objects of the template.

  • Contract management has been enhanced with additional templates for SAP products.

Reports​

  • The consumption data details of the following reports now show the first name and last name of the users:

    • Usage analysis

    • Module analysis

    • CPU consumption profile analysis

  • Mixed-cased ABAP user IDs in general report selection screens are automatically converted to uppercase.

Export of objects​

  • Before exporting objects, you can select object types and object names to limit the load time of the objects that are available for export.

  • The dependencies of notifications and STAR authorization object classifications are taken into account.

  • If an object GUID can not be found, the error message now also shows the object type for the missing GUID and the calling object type, if any.

More enhancements and changes​

  • The detailed view of warning functions for engine usage shows the unit and application names for easy identification.

  • When loading Idoc data, the data is no longer held in memory for whole months to avoid memory problems.

  • When a ruleset execution triggers change list processing, the change list has only entries with the values that result in changes.
