ABAP role classifications

ABAP role classifications are among the cross-functional objects in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.

Description​

ABAP role classifications match roles with license types to find the appropriate license type for a user who has assigned the roles that are specified in the classification. You can use ABAP role classifications as selection criteria in the Role usage analysis report or as a condition type in local rules.

There are four ways you can create ABAP role classifications in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software:

  1. Adopt the SAP role classifications from connected systems.

  2. Adopt roles from connected systems and add license types manually.

  3. Import roles and license types from a file.

  4. Add roles and license types manually.

To show the roles on connected systems, start the SAP role maintenance by executing the transaction PFCG or executing the transaction LICENSE_ATTRIBUTES in the USMM.
