Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software has more than 50 detailed reports to analyze licensing data.

Description

By executing the reports in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software, you can show information about the current state of licensing on the connected systems. Every report has a selection screen with standard and/or special selection criteria. In the selection screens, you can select data to limit the report results or select different report modes. You can execute many of the reports in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software in the background.

Report types

There are general reports like, for example, User list or Matrix users and data sources and baseline reports that show license information across different system types.

More, there are reports that show license information of specific system types:

• ABAP reports

• BusinessObjects reports

• HANA reports

• JAVA UME reports

• S/4HANA Cloud reports

With the Client applications from external sources report, you can show license data of data sources that are not connected to Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software.

There are even more reports in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software like, for example, Execute rule sets or Compliance analysis. These reports relate to specific features and enable you to execute changes or special evaluations. You can find these reports in the Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software menu in the folder of the respective feature like, for example, Rules or Contract management.

Results and functions

Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software reports mostly show the results in tabular form. Underlined table entries indicate that you can select an entry to show details. If there is a lot of data or different data sources, tables are often split into different tabs. Sometimes there is also a graphical representation of the report results.

In many report results, there are functions to show more details or to change data like, for example, change user master data or change role assignments. In most cases, you have to select one or several rows to apply functions to the data. The functions available in consolidated and unconsolidated report results may differ. Sometimes more functions become available after you use a particular function.
