Exporting the data file

Start transaction /DYNAM/OFFL_DOWNLOAD.

First you need to select if you want to store the generated file on the application server or on your frontend PC. The name of the file is already proposed. Please note that if you execute the report in batch, the file must be stored on the application server.

Next you need to choose the data types to store in the file. Typically, you just need to accept the defaults. The HR data is not selected by default. You only need to select it if the SAP system is an HR system, and the HR data of that system is needed in the Snow Optimizer.

The generated file is a text file encoded in UTF-8. All content is in plain text.
