With the Duplicate search feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software, you can identify duplicate users in your SAP system landscape.

Description

Duplicates are users that are used by the same person but have different user IDs. For identifying duplicate users, the duplicate search uses unique criteria. These criteria can be, for example, the same email address, swapped first and last name, or a similar user ID. You can search for duplicates on systems of the same type or different system types.

The Duplicate search feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software consists of Duplicate rules, an execution report, and a report result overview.

Best practice

To get the most out of the Duplicate search feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software, perform the following steps:

• Define the system types and the criteria for finding duplicates.

• Create the necessary Duplicate rules.

• Apply the duplicate rules to data using the execution report.

• Identify duplicates in the result overview.

tip

Because duplicates have different user IDs, you should always create a condition in a duplicate rule that excludes users with the same user ID from the duplicate search.
