HANA runtime verification

The HANA runtime verification report shows information about extra applications that are installed on HANA systems.

Description​

For the use of HANA databases, SAP offers two forms of licenses. The runtime license is a restricted license that's only valid for operating an SAP system like, for example, S/4HANA on the database. The full-use license is an unrestricted license that allows the operation of any SAP or non-SAP applications on the database.

This report gives you information about extra applications that are installed on the selected HANA data sources. In this way, you can see whether applications that require a full-use license are installed on a HANA database that is licensed only with a runtime license.

Selection criteria​

In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:

Option for Runtime systems

By activating the Only Runtime systems checkbox, you can limit the report results to HANA systems with a Runtime HANA license.

You can execute this report in the background.

Result​

The report result shows the type and number of the installed applications on the selected HANA databases.
