The Third-party product namespaces report is part of the Indirect Usage feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.

Description​

This report gives you information about the namespaces that were found on the selected data sources. Namespaces may indicate the usage of SAP add-ons.

Selection criteria​

The selection screen of the report has standard selection criteria.

Results​

The report result shows information about the namespaces classified as non-SAP, SAP, and unclassified in the respective tabs. Each tab shows the owner, role, and the number of accounts of the namespaces and whether namespaces are SAP standard, used or unused, and available.

The namespaces found on the satellite systems are initially shown in the Unclassified tab. In change mode, you can use the Set status function to classify these namespaces as non-SAP or SAP namespaces.

For performance reasons, the namespace usage is not checked during the report execution. After you calculated the namespace usage with the Check usage function in the report results, checkboxes indicate the usage status, and you can show the users who used the selected namespaces.

Activated checkboxes in the Namespace not available column indicate namespaces that are not included in the official SAP namespace table.

  • Set namespace status (switch to change mode for this function)

  • Show namespace details

  • Show users who used a namespace

    • Show consumption details

  • Show systems a namespace was found on

  • Check namespace usage
