Prerequisites

Before executing the migration report the following prerequisites must be met:

  • On the source system and the target system the very same Snow Optimizer release is installed.

    It is recommended to install the newest available release of Snow Optimizer on both systems before running the report. For system requirements and installation steps of Snow Optimizer see the corresponding installation manual.

  • On the source system a (communications) user with the authorization role /DYNAM/MIGRATION is created. This role is part of the standard delivery of the product.

  • On the target system an RFC connection to the source system is created.

  • On the target system a Snow Optimizer license file is installed.
