Connection status of data sources

Access through: Administration > Connection status data sources

The Connection status data sources report shows the status of connected data sources.

Description

This report checks the status of connected data sources and shows information about the configuration of the connections.

Selection criteria

In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:

General

You can select the data source types and the connection status.

If you select Perform ping, the report attempts to contact the data sources via the RFC connections and to log on using the credentials specified in the RFC destinations. If the connection process fails, these data sources are identified as currently unavailable over the network.

You can execute this report in the background.

Result

The report result shows information about the connection status and configuration of the selected data sources.
