Client applications from external sources
Access through: Reports > Reports inventory data > Client applications from external sources
The Client applications from external sources report shows application information of external software inventory tools in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.
Before using this report, you must load the inventory data from Snow License Manager or upload the inventory data via CSV files.
Description
This report gives you an overview of the client applications from external sources like, for example, the SAP applications from Snow License Manager. In this way, you can show all SAP data from separate SAP applications in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.
If there are different versions of an application, these are grouped together. You can also create groups manually.
Selection criteria
The selection screen of the report has the following selections:
Options for groups and applications
You can select application groups or applications to limit the report results.
By activating the Group license relevant checkbox, you can limit the report results to license-relevant groups.
Options for aggregation level
You can select whether the report aggregates the results by groups or by applications.
You can execute this report in the background.
Result
Depending on the selected aggregation level, the report result shows different information.
Aggregation by groups
The report result aggregated by groups shows group-relevant information like, for example, licensing relevance, manufacturer, number of installations, and users.
